Last summer, I started Open Practice, a basketball book club in New York, where I was living at the time. In short, the idea was inspired by my love for hooping, reading, and bringing people together. (You can read more about why I started it and our first hang out here.)

In early 2025, I moved home to the Bay Area for a change of pace. I’m excited to bring OP back to the place where I fell in love with the game as a kid.

So… what exactly does a basketball book club entail?

I will be hosting in-person hang outs, publishing interviews with authors and athletes, and sharing my commentary on the books I’m reading and the basketball I watch. So excited for you to join me.
